About Me
I am a mother to a beautiful young woman, wife to my supportive and amazing husband and a dog mom. I love to adventure in the Alaska outdoors and share this love with my family.
My professional focus revolves around fascial bodywork and trauma renegotiation. In my practice I utilize the John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach®, ScarWork™, and Somatic Experiencing®.
In May 2008 I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno, setting the foundation for my passion for understanding human behavior and connection. Complementing this, I pursued massage education at the Texas Healing Arts Institute in, solidifying my skills as a licensed massage therapist in June 2014. Continuing my journey in bodywork education, I pursued advanced training in the John F Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach® in 2015-2019, attaining the status of an Advanced MFR Therapist. Additionally in March 2022, I received certification both in Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork™ and as a Myofascial Yoga Teacher, expanding my skill set and enhancing my proficiency in addressing various aspects of fascial bodywork.
I completed my Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner Training Program 2021-2023 and in January 2024, I received my Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner certificate.
I look forward to sharing this work with you and joining you on your journey to wellness!
